friendly  Lodge
 
Since 1992, Ten Mile 
Lodge has been making 
efforts to lower our 
carbon footprint.
In 2001 we started up our 
own Hydro Electric power 
plant!  

All the camps on 10 mile 
lake are 100% green 
powered, having hot 
water, lighting, electric
stove as well as 
baseboard heating. 

Even air-conditioning!

The outpost camps have 
solar lighting and huge 
iceboxes for 
refrigeration which we 
replenish daily.

We truly believe that we 
are the most 
environmentally friendly 
REMOTE lodge in Quebec 
and maybe even Canada,
where efforts are made to 
hear the birds and not 
a generator!
